“Jewelry should be the last thing we put on before we go out and the first thing we take off when we get home…”
Our jewelry is handcrafted with great love, either in 24 carat (925 silver) gold plated or in 925 silver plated. If you want them to remain the same over time, you must love them and care for them properly.
In order for jewelry to remain in its original form as on the day you bought it, care is needed. Their exposure to the atmosphere and daily use, combined with the passage of time, results in their oxidation and are likely to lose their luster.
To slow down their decay, we must care for them carefully and follow a few little secrets.
Silver is a metal that oxidizes over time, which is perfectly normal. If oxidation of a piece of jewellery results in a slight change in colour, this is part of the normal wear of the jewellery and is not recognised as a manufacturing defect. The good news is that this oxidation is only superficial, that is, it does not penetrate the whole metal and thus does not destroy it.
The white color to restore as much as possible their original luster we make a small paste with water and baking soda and then carefully wash them, and when they have returned to their color we wipe them with a clean and soft cloth.
The gold, pink gold, and black colors require special care and are best done by professionals. Plating is the technique of covering the surface of a piece of jewellery with a thin layer of metal and affecting only its colour.
The plating colours are gold and rose gold, silver, platinum and black platinum. To preserve the color of a jewel and to slow its deterioration, it needs proper care and attention.
The stainless steel jewellery belonging to the Waterproof category is waterproof and hypoallergenic thanks to the special PVD coating method.
They have a high water resistance, so you don’t have to take them off when you’re in the shower, at the beach, or at the gym.
